Try ringing a few local golf clubs?
I know our local Golf club does do weddings and functions.

Bawburgh golf club have just built a large extension for weddings. and not far from Wym
My daughter had around that number at Barnham Broom and it's licensed to perform the actual ceremony.
Wherever you choose, ask if you can supply your own wine and champagne etc and pay 'corkage'
    VERY expensive!!!!

We had looked into Barnham Broom, but don't think that's for us.

Bawburgh is a good shout. Not heard of that, and looks pretty nice.

One of my daughters had hers at Caistor Hall Hotel (not that far from Dunston Hall).

Was excellent, but I see they've refurbished it, and now call it the Boudicca Hotel. Taking bookings this month I believe, so might be worth a look.

Thanks mate. I did mention Caistor Hall to her, but not sure if she looked into it. I'll have a look now. Cheers.

What are your must haves? Bridal suit of other rooms on site? Real ale? How near Norwich must it be? Gissing hall too far?
Two friends recently had their reception at the assembly house. Ok but bar facilities were a bit limited.
    Barnhan has rooms bawburgh doesn't.

    Bah!

    Good point re rooms General.
There's a Premier Inn approx 2 miles away from Bawburgh at the Showground and very accessible from all directions.
    Edit - I'm not on commission!! <laugh>

    Thanks for the replies guys.

We went to look around Kettering Hall last night. Which is stunning. I can't see how to hire the space is the same as price as Hunters Hall, as Kettering Hall is about 10 leagues above it. The gardens, the area to eat and dance, the lounge and the balcony area overlooking the dace floor. I was amazed that hall had a space that looked and set up like that.

Few tiny things not ideal, but not a disaster. Just need to have a work out of things like Catering and how affordable it would be. At the moment that is the best place we have seen. I'm just a little dubious that a place like that would be within our means.

    How about something different FML?

Beach BBQ and the guests could climb the cliffs back to their tents/caravans?
