Is a strange predicament to to think about for any SAFC fan. I can't help but think that a Newcastle win is a good result for us tonight, it'll be difficult to see them sitting on 10 points after 4 games but in our current situation we really need the bottom teams to be losing and thus picking up no points. A truly woeful position to be in but do any SAFC fans want Newcastle to beat QPR tonight?
I can't believe how quickly negativity has set in this season...We are four games into the season with a load of new players who have yet to find their feet. I want to see the mags get stuffed 3-0, and for us to be 10 points clear of them by Christmas... Ha'way the lads....
Are we in a relegation position? Are we about to be cut adrift if QPR pick up points? Do we have no time to rectify the situation? If yes to all of these then a yes to the sentiments of the OP.
4 tough games in and you want the barcodes to win, sorry mate can't agree. I'm with the rest of the sane people on here and hope they get hammered with Joey getting a hat trick.
Are we in a relegation position? NO 5th bottom is not a relegation place Are we about to be cut adrift if QPR pick up points? NO Still only 3 points from the top half Do we have no time to rectify the situation? NO We are 4 games into a 38 game season So NO to the OP - QPR to Hammer the mags for me
QPR win for me with a Barton hat trick i will never back a newcastle win unless it was to do a massive favour
As long as it is still possible to control our own destiny, I'm not so bothered about how other teams do. Obviously I would rather NUFC did poorly, but if they did well, good for them.
I stand by what I have written on the bottom of my signature page.....So I will definitely be a QPR fan for the night...I would find it very hard to ever bring myself to say that I would want the Skunks to win even if it was to our benefit...
Believe me I've never wanted Newcastle to win before and cheer goals they concede as if safc have scored. This isn't about 4 games in though its bigger than that, we've all seen it before and something just isnt right. I'm looking at Swansea, Norwich, QPR and Blackburn and hoping they are worse than us. Will people be saying 'we are only 7 games in'? if things haven't picked up? I think the fact that it was Chelsea on Saturday has masked how woeful we were. 8 defeats in 9 games, okay 6 of them were last season but that record tells you everything you need to know.
So, is your pint glass always half empty? FFS man, we're FOUR games into the season!!! I'm still expecting a top 10 finish.....comfortably above the craas. By the way....its called "Keeping the faith"
