Well that finale to Line of Duty was underwhelming. Never thought I'd say that about LOD.

Clearly dragging it out for Series 6 which is disappointing to see.

'The Looming Tower' on BBC Two (?) has started well; John O'Neill (Jeff Daniels) has lines to kill for:

"One more thing; Sanchez, you and Louis (Director of the FBI) can go and f**k yourselves or each other whichever makes you happy."

    Nope

    Original had flashbacks

Remake tried something different and doesn't work

They need to flesh out part2 with ****e now

    Oh dear Mindy.

    The original TV movie?

    Do you mean this...

    https://m.imdb.com/title/tt0099864/

The original TWO PART mini series?

The one where the first part involves kids being terrorised by Pennywise and the second part is set 30 years later when the kids have grown up and come back to deal with It again?

So much the same as the book and exactly the same as the recent film and its sequel?

So I don't know what you were watching but it couldn't have been a film as you claim.

No idea how you would think flashbacks would better than two films anyway. Or how they would need to "flesh out" the second part as opposed to one film with the same subject matter and flashbacks.

Tell me Mindy. Is there any subject you aren't an utter failure at?

    [emoji28]

So it isn't the same after all.

The idea behind the flashbacks is that once you leave Derry you start to forget.

The original followed that theme but the remake will be hard pushed to repeat it.

Im sure it will be ok but i prefer the way it was written in the book and made into the tv movie.

What i don't get is why your so ****ing angry about it.
