Given that Gerard - aka “Aussie Addick” aka “Shameless Addick” twirled his Charlton scarf in front of the TV cameras last season, might we expect a repeat at Donny on Sunday ? Gerard’s passion for self publicity....oops sorry....for Charlton is undoubted. Many times over the last 12 months, at Northern outposts like Accrington, Fleetwood and Wycombe, I have marvelled on the long trips at Gerard’s dedication to CAFC. The journey to Donny need not be that expensive for Shameless Addick either. He’s already got the scarf from last year, and perhaps Andrew Muir will let him put the £100 return from Kings Cross to Doncaster on expenses. Shameless Addick (lets be honest, not really an Addick at all....) might even have some cash left over for a beer meeting while he is up there ?
No idea, but it’s been a brilliant experience over the last 12 months, sharing our journey to Wembley with true Charlton men like Andrew & Gerard. Murphy reminds me of Mike Norris & Roger Alwen in so many ways. He bleeds SE7 blood.
Poll: Who is more likely to be seen at the Keepmoat Stadium on Sunday - 1. @baraettmattesvensson 2. Reggie Perrin 3. Gerard Murphy
Looking forward to mingling with Gerard on the away terrace on Sunday. Perhaps he will bring his drum? Every Saturday I follow The boys in red and white Here comes Gerard Murphy I never believed his shi te
Murphy has also spent more money in the Club shop than either Elf or myself..... oh wait a minute?? … Elf buys his programmes from the shop doesn't he so no … Murphy has spent more money than just me!
When Charlton get promoted, it is only right that Gerard - as the architect of our success - leads the civic celebrations. We literally could not have done it without him. I can see Shameless Addick flying over from Woogawonga to South London, and parading down Woolwich High St like ....
I'll attend the final (if we get there). I'm just a shameless gloryhunter now. I take it tickets will be on sale on the day, as in just rock up at Wembley and get in?
Us groundhoppers with principals need to stick together. The Moderator talking b******* as usual, after the Oxford defeat he said he was glad he did not go as we lost, we're not gloryhunters!
