Thanks for all the good wishes on here from you lads.

Today was emotional, but a good day overall. Carrying my dad's coffin into the chapel a real honour, wasn't sure how I'd feel about that, but it was very fitting to carry the man who brought me into life to his final resting place. Remembering my Dad and swapping stories about his life was a real tonic after the service. He was the sort of bloke who always saw the good in people and always tried to find the humour in every situation. So despite it being a sad day, it was a pretty jolly affair and one which my Dad would have been at the heart of cracking jokes.

God bless you Dad <peacedove>

Spent the afternoon putting together a wardrobe and a set of(f) drawers.

Took a canny while, but finally got there.

All high gloss grey. I'm happy.

Seems they were fantastic, a full meldley non stop off the old stuff. Gutted.

Also just heard that the meteoro were up in Newcastle, brought all the wreckin crew,

Couldn't throw a sickie?

I spose not, if you've been turned down for leave - looks a bit obvious. Bastards, eh.
