Until everyone who left Southampton FC for Liverpool has left them. Until Klopp has left them. Liverpool must never win anything. Don’t give a monkey’s toss about Spurs, so them it is.
So, five years after the exodus, a trophy is to be won by a bunch of our leavers (I can't pick, they are both the same for me). But I'm a little surprised it took this long to be honest.
You wouldn´t expect Spurs fans to fight in any case. They are far too gentlemanly for the activities that Millwall and Pompey still engage in.
I can. If SFC struggle again. We should get angry about our own team´s ineptitude rather than wishing ill on others.
AC Milan v Juve, a dull 0-0 draw has to be one of the worst. Liverpool v Bruges, Forest v Malmo. There were some awful finals in the 80s. Recent ones have been top notch for entertainment, even last year´s!!! Another awful one was Milan throwing away a 3-0 lead, which thankfully they didn´t repeat against the same opponents two years later.
Have you seen the flight prices from Luton and Liverpool to Madrid for the CL final? An increase of £700 compared to two weeks previous.
Hotel prices even worse. A room at a hotel near the airport on 1st June costs £2,000. Booking that room a week later costs less than £200.
Feel sorry for the Spurs fans as Liverpool fans would have filled up and absolutely hammered up prices of loads of London flights to Madrid/Spain for 24 hrs. Ticket prices are a joke as well, over 500 notes for a cat 1 ffs.
Aubaman & Lassie have been top quality tonight, and their work rate exceptional. Not seen much of Ozil though, has he gone into hiding?
About 3 years ago my dream Saints signings would have been Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Tammy Abraham and Ake. With Ralph they would have been wonderful. Such is the stuff of dreams. PS: That academy of Chelsea´s certainly churns out high quality players.
