Just had e mail through confirming the ten tickets we have for neutral end have been cancelled and if we attempt to use them will be arrested. Fukin sick. Money has been refunded. I know lads who have bought same tickets but don't have a northeast or linked north east post code have kept there's .... The way we bought ours was using mates address in Manchester but they then checked with Newcastle United to see if he's had Fulham v Newcastle tickets in the past which he has so they terminated the ones we have The lengths they are going to to stop us are unbelievable... Any ideas or help will be welcome . Cheers
Totally disproportionate, arrested for buying football tickets for a neutral end, ffs. Typical thick British bastards, let's make everyone criminals.
This is quite shocking really. They allow neutrals in... but seem to make an exception for us. **** Fulham and their ****ty little dog end cheaply supported club. I hope their rotten **** hole ground falls down.
That’s what I like to see, a considered and constructive comment... Try writing to the FSF I think it’s called, the Football Supporters Federation. It won’t do anything immediately but it will highlight the issue for future consideration by them. Also think it’s not acceptable for Fulham to have kept your money combined with lots of others to no doubt earn some interest on without paying some sort of compensation given they could easily have decided this before issuing the tickets. If you have incurred any other expense I would suggest writing to them and asking for compensation such as hotel, train tickets etc. Probably the small print , the T & C’s, allow them to do this but if inadequate response then write to PL. Again that probably won’t work but if enough fans do this then again it will hopefully highlight the problem. As a last resort contact the media such as Radio Newcastle, the BBC, Sky, the Ronnie Gill and also that Newcastle MP who has been having a go at Ashley and the Sports Minister whoever that is these days. Essentially kick up a fuss and if enough people do it then something might happen in the future to stop Clubs being able to do this with impunity.
As a Fulham supporter I am ashamed of my club. As far as I know there has never been any animosity between our clubs and - as the seasons finale - this should be a good natured game between two sides with nothing at stake. Although the club will refund the cost of the tickets this does take into account the cost of travel, or accommodation that may have been pre-booked. I hope that those of you that have been affected will make strong representations to the club. This has been a PR disaster and should not happen again. One final 'heads up' If you are not aware CC is cashless,so any refreshments can only be purchased by Debit/Credit card.
I am sorry to hear about Captain Chaos’ financial problems. No wonder he moans about everything under the sun.
To be fair I tried to buy tickets and there was a warning that if you were found to be an away fan then they would cancel the tickets and refund you or if found at the stadium you’d be turfed out. Is this a Fulham choice or something the PL have done for safety concerns? Last time We played at CC I remember being actively encouraged to purchase tickets through Fulham so seems a bit strange to me
Exactly - been to most of the recent games at Craven Cottage in the neutral bit. About 90% of the whole end was Newcastle fans
Thanks for the reply lads. One of my mates is in contact with Fulham. I'll keep you posted In the mean time a friend in Chelmsford and a one in Bristol have purchased another 10 for us.. Should be interesting
Yep my mate has done the same and had his tickets rescinded. His son lives in London and has got them 4 though. Its annoying. Same as we requested away corporate and were told they were sold out along with the full away allocation. Then I find out yesterday that away corporate are available from a fan dealing with Fulham direct? Which is it and why are Newcastle saying no? I don't really do away days now but this whole ticketing debacle every week would do my head in. I'd have been ****ed back in the day as all I thought about was how many cans to take. Not so simple now. Then we have our club happy to let hundreds of Liverpool fans into the home section. Can we not just have one set of rules? I told the club about the ****e on Saturday in no uncertain terms. They asked if I was making an official complaint in an arsey fashion. I said no this is just me as a long term customer of nearly 40 years giving you some friendly advice to avoid police being required in the future. The club is clueless.
Mine haven't been rescinded, I live in, London so they probably think I'm a Fulham fan lol. Let's crush these relegated, ticket-rescinding, Mitro-stealing, Michael Jackson statue - erecting twats!
