Fantastic and totally deserved, just been on a couple of newspaper sites and read the comments about us becoming champions. So many negative comments (despite us playing such good football),from fans of the big clubs. All predict six easy points, and a very early relegation. Would love us to shut a few of them up next year. Just gutted that after years of holding a season ticket, retiring to Somerset last October means I have hardly seen the boys live this season.
One thing has puzzled me during the celebrations , I haven't seen any photos of Dennis Srbeny anywhere after the Villa game or at the town hall. Do you need to play a certain amount of games to pick up a winners medal ? He didn't play a very big part but I'm sure he scored and did ok in the cup games .
I can't find it for the EFL, but the PL is 5 to officially qualify, but I think each club can apply for extras for back up keepers or injured players. Bah!
I thought that I read somewhere that every member of the squad got a medal but I don't remember the source now. I didn't see Ivo Pinto with a medal on though?
