@Clb74 is gasping for a drink to watch Sunderland v Portsmouth on Saturday night. I have said I'll do him a favour and watch the game in The Bricklayers Arms, in Bromley. Once I told him this, he decided that he was going to Doncaster earlier than planned. I’m about as welcome as Reams at an AA meeting. @pulled off at halftime is allowed to come as long as buys the first round. Anybody else fancy it then feel free. For ease, @Clb74 will be in shorts and I'll have my purple Timberland number on.
I’ll be in Doncaster, having a nice meal. The next day I’ll be joined by 3,000 other Charlton fans to cheer the lads on. #YouAreMissingOut #FutileBoycott

I think we should have a serious thread about the psychology of your futile boycott. What you are doing is the equivalent of putting your bollox in a vice - and claiming that you enjoy it. Every Charlton fan who knows you knows that you want to be at the Doncaster game on Sunday
Laughable. Your programme purchaser buys Duchâtelet’s programmes for £3...and you give him £3 in the pub on the pretence of getting him a beer. #FoolingNobody
do you reckon a Sunderland vs Charlton final ? 1998 and you favourites again. We need Mcgeady, Sterling and Kimpioka playing and we will beat any team we certainly miss Maja, for some reason Ross plays Grigg and Wyke who we do not rate, so that will be the key factor we beat Doncaster 2-0 recently and they were not strong so you should. We have only lost one game to any top 6 team this season but the draws have done us, our players have been to wembley in the checka trade which i blame for us not going up, so might have the advantage.
I was at the Stadium of Light when you beat us on the opening day. Your centre halves both looked slow / poor that day. Since then we have added genuine Championshio standard loans in Bielik (Arsenal) and Cullen (West Ham). In Taylor and Aribo we have two of the best natural attacking talents in the league. I would be fairly confident that we will beat you.
I can see a repeat of 1998.. for Mendonca read Taylor for Rufus read Sarr for Curbishley read Bowyer and once again our keeper is useful at saving penalties if we get past Donny then nay problem.
There’s a very good new interview on the CAST website with Bowyer. His understated comments and values are very reminiscent of Curbs. In his own words, he “doesn’t do funny” and is very serious, driven & ambitious. Lucky us.
