Rose....has earned my respect back...fought for every ball
Hugo...some food saves...great decision making with his clearances tonight.
Son ran himself and their defenders into the ground.
I can not say enough about Moura...what footbslling courage he showed in not panicking.
    Davies...great impact as a sub.
    Lamela...as above.
Wanyama...celebrated with the team erather than having an ego strop at being brought off a ht.

I hope nobody at Tottenham makes any stupid statements about the final, we'll do this or we'll do that because rash statements can rebound and bite you on the bum. Let the football do all the talking.

This is Trippier's problem. Took him until the last part of the second half to send in some decent crosses.

    Cheers Spurf

I believe sometimes football can be over complicated...blood sweat and tears goes a long way in one off situations, that’s all I wanted...we deserve it.

I think Liverpool and us are in the final because of determination and guts and never giving up.

Lamela: Having a near mare in the last minute trying to dribble in our half instead of booting it upfield

    Honestly I'd say

Trippier was a mess defensively and definitely clueless for Ajax 2nd goal. But did well n 2nd half to expose Ajax left side especially for your 2nd goal.

Llorente strong and held the ball up, but useless with his feet. Couldn't make a 3 yard pass in their box or score when he had the chances. Making scoring that 3rd goal harder than it needed to be.

Sissoko thought he was Maradonna trying to take on half the Ajax team on his own time and time again and losing possession. Once again, making that 3rd goal more laboured than it needed to be.

    Rest I agree with.

Tottenham full-back Danny Rose: "We saw Liverpool last night. It goes to show it's not over until it's over. Disappointed with the first leg how we started and we started like that tonight. But after the break we came out.

"The gaffer mentioned Liverpool's display at the hotel before the match - the gaffer doesn't mind us losing but we have to lose the right way.

"We're lucky we've gone through and we look forward to the Champions League final."

    Fair enough but
    A) was only talking about 2nd half ... Trippier had a very poor 1st 45.
    B) Llorente caused them panic throughout and created space for others. It unnerved them, created space and caused mistakes and for that he deserves a lot of credit.
    C) Sissoko led by example and drive us forwards. He was brave (football wise) and took risks and made those sround him start to believe...his leadership by example was excellent imho.

Christian Eriksen: "It was a ridiculous game, we were really far down, we tried to fight back, we were just lucky, I feel sorry for Ajax, they played a very good game against us, today we mostly created more chance, football they played better, it is relief, we have been fighting for this, it is a dream to be in the final.

"We felt like we weren’t able to look ourselves in the mirror if we were to go down three or four nil. We had to fight, we scored early to get some momentum, put them under pressure. We are lucky the ball falls in the right direction, Luca had a wonderful game we are relieved

"Today it was non tactical, more of a fight and a heart performance, heart and Lucas Moura, he’s how we won the game, he deserves it, rollercoaster of a season, for him to get us in the final, I hope he gets a statue in England after this, we are blown away, no real words for it, I feel sorry for Ajax, in the end think about ourselves, not deserve it more, got there in the end."

  20. Bruv, tonight, you don't need the whirlybird. I've told the pilot to put it back in the hanger.
