Spanish is that really you, there was no wild tirade with abusive language??

I actually thought we were going to agree alot this year with giving Jewell a chance but clearly we are always going to be polar opposites.

TBH, I don't think us the supporters really had a full grasp on how bad of a situation we were in squad wise until now. perhaps having a big transfer budget loses sight on the gems from the lower leagues. But i do like the fact that PJ is sorting out problems one by one, give it time spanish.

Guru I respect your comments a great deal but on what evidence do you say that PJ is sorting out problems one by one? To me he is just about as clueless as RK was and if not more so! How can he justify not signing a proper right back in the summer? Just one example of a catalogue of mistakes he is making!

Look at it this way, He is looking at every part of the country, not just at a certain north east club for players. He saw that we were creating chances just not taking them, so he bought in chops and ellington to a lesser extent. now he is working on the defence, which to be honest needs a hell of a lot work. It's also not the case of he hasn't looked at getting players in earlier, its just we have beaten to them ala pearce & st ledger.

Things aren't perfect, I would a fool to suggest otherwise but compared to the last 2 idiots we are a lot better off.

After catching the last 3rd of the Norwich match yesterday I was surprised by how many changes they made from a very strong team last year. Hoolahan on the bench seemed strange. Their loan defender from Man Utd seemed nowhere near as good as their defensive partnership from last season and they lacked a bit of cohesion. Love them or hate them, the Norwich team from last season was a tightly knitted outfit and they appeared to have lost a bit of that in the transition.

not wanting to get embroiled in another petty 606 argument but I think Spanish meant as he is only living in Spain and not actually from Spain then technically he isnt a Spainard
