That's cause most of us couldn't "see" it anywhere else... I "watched" it on sky sport news... It is so f****annoying Sent from my STF-L09 using Tapatalk
They bottled it in the anfield cauldron. Crowd played a huge part. Brighton to get a point against city, Liverpool win the league in the 89th minute and beat spurs in the final.
I don't think that Liverpool gave them much time or space to play. They were clearly rattled. When they did have the ball, they looked impressive, however the Liverpool defending reminded me of the City v Leceister game the previous evening. Also, Allison make a couple of good and very important saves. I admit that I was still half expecting Messi to "shine" and score at 4-0 down and be the party pooper. But I am very pleased that he did not. Well done Kloop and Liverpool! Chapeau bas!
A little unfair on Liverpool imo. They simply imposed themselves on Barca, with the crowd playing their part too. I agree that Messi would normally, almost certainly have taken at least one of the chances he had last night, but perhaps he is human after all (maybe?). Also, Allison was excellent and actually, imo, Liverpool were the better side in the first leg, but failed to take any of their numerous chances.
Well done the Mickey mousers on a great result.... however i am already bored this morning listening to everyone saying it is their divine right and people 'don't understand because they are not Liverpool'.. what a load of self indulging sentimental crap. I hope Spuds win tonight.
Of course we wouldn’t! We would, of course, go on to lose the final though. That’s us. Read some interesting stuff about the first leg. The Barca players were exhausted after it, Messi made more tackles than he ever has before, and his demeanour at the end was ‘this isn’t over’ especially as they missed another chance to score at the death. They knew the score line was very misleading, and so did Klopp. But no one could have expected last night (except Ubes), especially without Firmino. For some reason I think it might have helped that Salah wasn’t available. Now just hoping that Brighton do something really weird next weekend, and Wolves, who have been great against the top six, are on the beach.
I had a dream last night that Rangers were playing Liverpool in the Premiership at LR, and came back from two goals down to win 3-2 Nah, would never happen
I hope spurs win the competition and city win the league. It was a great game last night and highly enjoyable, I just know too many liverpool fans who bloody annoy me!
Mystic Uber has 2-1 to the Tottering Hotsperms this evening, putting them into the Grand Finale on away goals. Remember where you heard it first.
Am I the only one not feeling the Liverpool/Klopp love-in? Their fans, and the media, will be insufferable if they win either competition. It's not even a team built on a shoestring budget, they've spent millions on those players, with the addition of a couple of excellent youngsters. Klopp does my head in with all his prancing about the technical area too. Hope Ajax win tonight, and win the final to show how it can be done.
I absolutely love Klopp. He must be fantastic to play for. I don't get all this scouser and Klopp bashing. Yes, Scousers have some annoying traits, as do most other region's people. Liverpool have been by far and away the most successful British team in European competition and arguably domestically too. Their sides in the eighties were magnificent to watch and what a season they're having this season, taking the title race with City to the final day and getting to the Champions League final (again).
Personally, I have massive respect for Klopp and his players. Everything was stacked against them last night, yet with the talent and spirit they have, they fought through. As for the fans, their support was magnificent and they never stopped believing. If Liverpool fans have a fault, it's that they can be a bit precious. But this is there moment, and let them enjoy it. I certainly won't forget the match last night!
