Really not sure how to feel about tonight’s result but my one contribution is to answer the point above.

Klopp is genuine. What you see, is what you get. He’s like that in private and when you bump into him around the place as much as he’s like it on the pitch and in front of the cameras. I actually like him as much as I wish he wasn’t Liverpool manager. But it’s a match made in heaven. He will be immortalised in banners and flags on the Kop for years to come.

When you think how much we all love Ralph, and then you see how Klopp is and where he’s taken them to and from, then you can totally understand why they all love him to bits.

Really want Ajax to come good now - Tottenham wining it would be worse for me - but fair play to the Reds, that was an absolutely sensational night of football.

 

Ajax's results at home were not as good as their results away, in both the previous two rounds.

R. Madrid 1 - 4 Ajax

Ajax 1 - 1 Juventus
Juventus 1 - 2 Ajax

 

BBC's Tom Rostance made me giggle.

I wasn't particularly interested, but being unable to avoid the result of 4-0 pretty much drove me to see what all the fuss was about. I ended up on Footballorgin skipping through some bits, but seeing probably more than an hour of the match. Dislike aside, from stripping this club of some of its prime talents, I ended up smiling and simply admiring the endeavour. It was a total team performance the like of which I haven't seen for a very long time. They were irresistible.

 

Hopefully Spurs get an early goal to make it interesting.
