I don't understand all that mate. I don't really see what the truth matters, we are all individually but a mere speck of dust on the landscape, if that! Life is short and I'm not afraid of dying...but would just like to do a few more things in life before i do, although not sure if fate will give me that time. Some believe in eternal life, I just believe when i'm gone, I'm gone.

 

If there is a God, he played no part in writing any of the books of western religions.

An all knowing, all powerful entity would not have had a hand in writing such contradictory and clearly plagiarised waffle, as a way of supposedly explaining things. They were even written in obscure languages ffs.

They don't stand up to scrutiny, and we should stop humouring the poor souls that delude themselves with it.

Racists (or indeed anyone) can change

 

Agree. We'd be ****ed if people didn't change.

No one's born racist. We all harbour certain thoughts we grew into. But it's a big wide world and we learn and change.

Maybe not. I guess it's hard to say for certain

But my own experiences say we can. As you know I was married to a white lass for over 20 years and not only did some of her family members change from meeting me and my family but so did some of mine.

Even outside of that I have mates who would say they were racist at some point and later changed there views. Almost all due to going into the big wide world and seeing people

I have a Polish mate who lives in brum. Most folk don't know he has far right tattoos on his chest including a swastika on his chest and calf. Being born and raised in Poland he was hardcore right wing. Came to UK and slowly changed into the guy he is today.

Course that's just my view
