Well Chesh I don't get this anti Harrison crap. IMO he works his bollox off and he is only a loanee. While Izzy has been the biggest waste of time and money, but supporters were judging him on one good game against us. On a positive point, our u23s won on a penalty shoot out.
Every club in the country should only be allowed to spend a certain amount of money on players, wages, etc say for arguments sake you are only allowed 20 million a season to spend on transfers, if you want to spend 19m on one player so be it that's the clubs choice, yes we all know that the smaller clubs in the lower divisions can only dream of spending 20m a year on players but it will stop the Sky four from buying success and coaches will have to actually coach players to be better, the smaller clubs who come up from the lower divisions doing it the right way may be able to grow and prosper in the top divisions, this will drive transfer fees down and also the obscene wages they get, if after ten or fifteen years of that happening i'm sure the leagues would look totally different from what they do now. Fantasy football eh
Morning all. No doubt something on these lines would result in a better competition for all clubs. As it is competition for the top prize in English football is restricted to half a dozen clubs. I'm afraid greed will make sure it does not happen.
