Sadly, Jose Mourinho is the winner.

They'd have finished lower than sixth had Jose stayed.

Quite funny that Ole came in, broke a load of records, was labelled "better than Busby & Fergie" yet failed to improve on the sixth place they were in when he arrived.

I dont think utd are that far off top four, i really dont. If he isnt the problem or the scapegoat i would make Pogba the scapegoat, i think remove his attitude and suddenly **** will turn good. Said many times before he is clearly a talented player but at the moment he is a threat in that changing room. The pattern will repeat and repeat. Jose dealt with him badly but ole can still sort him. He now has a close season to sort some things out,
We made up **** loads of points with two signings so why couldnt utd
I would be willing to give him the chance, to me it looks like he has been using end of season to look at all the players.
His priority next season will be cl qualification and good cup run
Whether we as fans like it cl qualification is more important to most clubs than winning the title. Same as prem league status trumps fa now, totally wrong imho but as bruce hornsby would say...
The utd no 2 goalkeeper looked very good
Let de gea go and use that guy
    See how it goes imho

Not just Pogba, Sanchez and Martial too. Plus Young is as bad as Moreno but first choice for them! Lukaku can be a good player in the right setup (not my style) but he needs to shred a few stone first!

They need a RB, at least one CB (I'd say two but look how VVD effected others), a CM and at least one forward.

Probably a keeper too because De Gea looks to already be on the plane. Romero is praised by Man Utd fans though so maybe just a backup is needed?

The first thing united to do is hire a proper Director of Football so they can ensure the club has a coherent transfer strategy, rather than the scattergun approach they have adopted since Fergie left.

Their philosophy seemed to be to buy the biggest names they could find. Sometimes that can work, but it's no guarantee - especially when big names often come with big egos.
Only one man can be in charge in the dressing room, and he has to make sure everyone else understands and accepts that.

    in the end....

possibly the worst summer to be rebuilding in.

    a) real Madrid.

    b) bayern

    c) psg

    d) juventus.

all looking for players all looking for top talent and will pay for it.

    Chelsea have a ban.
    spurs are looking for bargains

    neither want to lose players.

and so we have Utd. de gea wants to go, Pogba wants to go. what do Utd do in those deals? do they try pull in a couple of players from those clubs??

anyway... imo theyve got goals in them... maybe midfield and defenders needed most but we will see

I would like to see where he ends up next season with a summer of transfer activity behind him. My guess at this stage is sacked by End of October

They've drifted further away from the top 2.
In fairness the top 2 have been unbelievably good, but the only reason Utd came within touching distance of top 4 is because the 3 immediately above them have been useless.
