Roy was a bad fit that should never have been picked in the first place. He managed to take us backwards despite only getting six months. He was rightly moved on, what's your point? You saying Ole was the wrong pick too?
Rashford, Herrera, Lingard, de Gea, Romero, Young, Lindelof, Mc Tominay, Fred, Mata, Pereira, Dalot, Shaw, Smalling, Martial (after a good slapping), Bailly (if he gets over his made of crystal phase), Tuanzebe, Fosu-Mensah, Lukaku. There would obviously need to be additions to centre mid and defence but these are worth keeping to create a squad.
No, I am saying you cant call someone a bad pick after 6 months. My point is we don't all kick managers out because the fans are disgruntled.
He is probably old on FM now but those who watch the game will realise he is a player who gives his all to the team and is quite versatile, well worth another year.
Fred??? Ok then. Young????? He's gone over the cliff mate. But lukaku? Seriously you'd keep that? He's so far from a Utd player.. miles surely I get Herrera after how's he's played for ogs until injury
40 goals conceded in 29 appearances, with 4 clean sheets. You basically start every game he plays 1-0 down.
I look at Lukaku the same as I looked at Felaini, good plan B but not as effective as Felaini. Young is very under-rated, he is one player who actually cares and tries in every game, when a team lacks leaders you appreciate what you have. You obviously haven't watched Fred play, once he is settled he will be a very good addition but at the moment tries too hard to impress and ****s up. I am hoping for a good next season for him and rate him on parr or better that your Keita.
Yep, all down to one player You and Jimmy should watch some games and stop reading stats, you might enjoy it and learn something about players
On young Mate, youngs going right over that cliff. Wood from the trees moment needed. When we played you he was so scared he never came out of his half before the first injuries. Dont mistake that for leadership. As for Fred. Best of luck with that one. You need to build round rashford. You've lost more games since he's been shuffled around to cover other issues. No 9 is his slot. De gea might be gone who knows, lukaku should be gone, matic has even less legs than our fabinho now. The issue for me is I really can't recall now you plan b under Ferguson... I can't recall a donkey to hoof it at especially. I don't get that.
You may have noticed I never mentioned Matic We never needed a straight plan B under Fergie but we had one (or more), they involved changes in formation and usually a couple of players, hopefully we will get to that stage again some day. If de Gea goes we have Romero so no big deal, Young is still doing a job but Dalot will take over sometime next season. Fred is just an opinion thing but I have seen enough to think he will come good. I am one of very few who miss Felaini, I would never want him to be a starter under any circumstances but he was great at seeing a game out (breaking things up in midfield or clearing free kicks and corners) and an absolute menace when chasing a game (caused total chaos in the oppositions area and scored/assisted many an important goal). Not all players are Messi/Ronaldo but quite a few have great value in the right circumstances.
Go back to the beginning mate. In response to your comment, I said there is no way the glazers or most Man Utd fans would give him 3 or 4 years. What part of that says "sack him after six months"...?
Good enough to do a lot better than we have. One or two bad apples can cause a lot of **** in a squad and we have at least 3 of them.
And just in case you want to compare Ole to Woy again any time in the future, this is what owl boy served up at Anfield....
And you got the other two spot on (Martial and Sanchez) Young is not as bad as Moreno, he is a left winger playing right full back, for me he does ok at it
