of course if Arsenal don't fook it up today, the table could look like this and make the last games that bit more interesting... 1 Liverpool3765942 Man City3668923 Chelsea3724714 Tottenham372870 5 Arsenal372169
Chelsea to finish 3rd, Spuds to finish 4th, Arsenal to finish 5th Arsenal beat Chelsea in the Europy final. Spuds end up out of the CL and in the Europy next season
If @PISKIE lot don't fook up today and win their last game, it would be hilarious if you did that, it would keep you in wum material for the whole of next season
I think Arsenal would have to win the CL to stop us going into it from 4th place. And they ain’t gonna do that.
That's what I've posted mate. I wish there was an alternative but not so. Ideally Arsenal 3rd, Chelsea 4th and the Europy final had been between Arsenal vs Spurs with Spurs winning so Chelsea don't get CL. But that aint possible.
I don’t think the winners of the EL can influence any of the positions in the CL give to English clubs. Another position is granted to the EL winners. As from 2018/19 an association may have a max of 5 teams in the competition.
I'm pretty sure that if someone finishes outside the Top 4 and wins the Europy, the team in 4th is replaced by the winner of the Europy? Is that wrong then?
I believe it is, yes. Only the winner of the CL, if they haven’t qualified automatically, can do that.
