The most I've ever laughed was after a bad tackle on a Blyth player right in front of where I stand. There were quite a few there who saw it, and once all the "ooohs!" were dying down, a voice from the back piped up and said "you dirty ****!". Obviously it's a "had to be there" moment, but it was hilarious.

And Mod Face <ok> spot on. I think the club is looking more for an eternity in the BSN rather than going in any sort of direction. To be fair, promotion this season would probably finish the club due to the need to turn professional, higher wages, travel etc. but the club should be looking to do something about that and put the right things in place so that the club can progress. There's still a lot of spirit at the club and I don't think Blyth would look out of place in the BSP with the right backing and a good set of quality conference players.

I don't think our ground is too far off BSN standard, whether we have the fanbase to keep us ticking over is questionable. Our attendances were averaging a pretty healthy 600 not too long ago, now they're closer to the 400 mark. I feel a league above at best we'd top off at 900 and I think the board is aware of that, promotion isn't financially sustainable. I'm happy for us to be a BSN side, but constant change makes it very unsettling to be a supporter, knowing that managers good work is undone every couple of seasons. I reckon if Rich supports Bedlington and matches their ambition, we could have a proper derby again, I just hope it's BSN not Unibond!

I love the guy at Croft Park who sounds like Noddy Holder (CCCCCCOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMEEEEEEE OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNN BBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYTTTTTTTTTTTHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!) but what always tickles me is the little kids echoing their parents with tiny little voices, when the crowd's quiet and you hear a shrill '"referee get some glasses' from a 5-year-old, can't help but smile.

I remember a couple of seasons back we had a friendly with Morpeth, I was chatting to this bloke about both our clubs, turns out he was Morpeth's chairman! You don't get that level of interaction at larger clubs.
