You probably would if this was in the US. They ran a survey over here about voting once and asked questions like "would you vote for a candidate who was a..." And listed different groups like black, white, Xian, Muslim,etc..." By far the group that was most listed as "would never vote for" was atheist, it wasn't even close. Something like 70% said they wouldn't vote for an atheist under any circumstance (compared to something like 30% for Muslim). I don't remember numbers exactly but it was something like that. That's not the same as hating atheists... and in day to day life it isn't the same discrimination. But it clearly showed atheists over here are worse thought of in public opinion by more people.

Personally think if you aren't religious you kind of have to be agnostic almost by default. Basically because you can't really prove there isn't a creator any more than saying you can't prove there is one, imho
