We’re between a rock and a hard place. We need major investment, with quite a few players. The problem is that it’s very hard to do, and we know all too well how hard it is to bed in that many players in 1 go. We’re gonna still be paying for this lack of investment next season, too.
Lloris got the ball so i didn't think that should have been a penalty but Dier's one definitely so we're lucky to be on level terms.
No squad, which means lots of knackered players, injuries and a poor run-in. Chelsea was down to a ref who intentionally didn't do his job though, by his own admission.
That is my reading having only watched the incidents as they happened. The other one looked a nailed on penalty and red card though (second yellow).
Before today I would have agreed with you. But we’ve had two weeks recently where despite us having crap results, the others have been just as bad and things have gone our way. We’re not gonna get that luck again this weekend. It’s like we’re trying to throw away CL football. You couldn’t make it up.
If Son's sent off for pushing, then why doesn't the player that pushed him over directly afterwards get sent off?
We have to be brave second half. Go to a back 3, 4 across the middle and 2 up top. Invite them onto us and hope we can get them on the break.
Though you were the better team for the first 20 mins I honestly don't think you've been unlucky today. If I was a Bournemouth fan I reckon I'd be spitting blood by now.
Wanyama and Foyth replace Dier and Alderweireld? Both on yellows, but I hope the latter's not injured.
