good afternoons end of season boozing in store tomorrow. Farewell to some of the players. Nige will stay. City (us) win a 4-3 thriller
Bristol City would be my choice of the three clubs to make the play-offs. Pulis, ‘Boro & FL’s Derby can get to ****. City to do things the City way & once again batter the dreams of the cider swilling funny talkers. 3 nowt City, there is only one.
I always want us to win, and I actually think it will be a draw, but should BC win tomorrow, then I hope results go in their favour and they reach the playoffs.
Hull have won their final league match of the season in just one of their last 14 seasons (W1 D5 L8), winning 5-1 against Rotherham United in 2015-16. This is another one of those stupid stats that wants sorting out. Sort it out, City. I demand it.
Bristol was once the home of the tigers. Or one at least. It lived in a local pub to drum up trade, but ended when the crowd complained it didn't move much, so the barman went to wake it up, so it ate him. Lead shot was invented in Bristol. Waterside Plaza in New York City was built upon the rubble of bombed-out Bristol. Only Fools and Horses’ Nelson Mandela House is behind Ashton Gate. The first bungee jump took place from the Suspension Bridge. Ribena was invented in Bristol. Bristol is the world’s biggest manufacturer of hot air balloons. Thomas Telford started the design for the Cifton Suspension bridge. When Brunel took over he initially designed the bridge to have Egyptian influences – even complete with Sphinxes. The easter egg was created in Bristol. The first gender reassignment surgery took place in Bristol. Nipper, the HMV dog is from Bristol.
Not going. Can’t be arsed. Ehab can’t be arsed. Players probably aren’t arsed. Nigel’s not arsed about signing up for not arsed Allams. It’s a shame it’s come to this. Fairly obvious who I blame.
I’m sorry I’m missing this one. Exactly as John said I hope we win, but I also hope that if we lose the other results go Bristol’s way
One of my cousins moved to Bristol for work 40 years ago. He was and still is a Hull City supporter first and foremost, but goes to Bristol City home games. So for one day a season, he changes ends and goes amongst the away fans when City come to town. He is travelling up this weekend and will be attending the game today with the home fans of cause.
