Best endings are Godfather, 2001 A Space Odyssey and Mr Smith Goes to Washington.

    <ok> good man.

Ive always been mystified as to how " Final Destination " could have all those sequels....I mean surely if the first one is the Final Destination ...then , well , you get my point.

some if the movies withh sequels/prequels actually ruin the good aspect of the films

alien movies at the end comes to mind. as does godfather 3.

funnily enough i read the book first blood and if they had stuck to that in the movie there would have been no rambo franchise but an excellent movie imo and the ending would have been phenomenal. basically trautman shoots rambo in the head, rambo pleads with him to do so

The same as(but completely different) "The Never Ending Story", Why did they only make 1 or 2 sequels? Surely if it is never ending...then, well, you get my point.

'Blow' with Johnny Depp as George Jung. The ending of that sometimes makes me wonder how close I am to becoming a delusional mentalist. Supporting Scotland brings on similar thoughts.

The first couple of times you saw The Usual Suspects, you probably thought there couldn't be a better ending to a film. I also support the references to Shawshank (feel good), Shutter Island (thought provoking), Saw and Se7en (shock factor).

I'm also digging The Departed and Lucky Number Slevin.
