The doors are holding up better than my wickes kitchen. The runners on the drawers not so.

I've got Bosch gear, it's very good.

    Bit of an experiment today, will report back later;

No idea what it'll turn out like.

I'm hoping it'll slice as I've got a baked spud, some carrots and broccoli to go with it later and two sourdough rolls for tomorrow.

Be ok on rolls tomorrow regardless, touch and go whether it'll slice well tonight!

    Turned out ok.

Slightly too long in there, went from rare to nearly over done quickly.

    The gravy was lovely.

I posted a while ago I've been cooking weekly diet plans for my daughter. Her whole self-discipline and general attitude has changed which is great for the long term. She's currently lost 13 kg in 3 months and we've this week started jogging again.

Anyway, just thought I'd post one of the regular dishes I make, which I made yesterday. This is one meal for 4 days.

It's a pan-asian beef and broccoli recipe. The broccoli I used this time was frozen which I'm not too happy with but will do. Also has fresh spring onions and diced shalot.

The sauce is made separate - light soy sauce, ginger, dash of raw honey, dijon mustard, water and arrow root as thickener (healthier option apparently).

    Served with brown rice <ok>

    I’d eat that.

The mrs occasionally makes something very similar.

I think tonight I’m going to throw caution to the wind and pretend there is nothing wrong with my stomach and order pizza. I haven’t eaten pizza since September.

Thanks Sweats. Not too difficult to make either.

It's the littlun's, so the rest of us had Young's breaded cod and oven chips! <laugh>

    Why can’t you eat it?

I have broccoli at least 3 times a week. Normally the purple sprouting variety.

It's a gout food, high in purines. I might be ok eating it but it's best to avoid.

Beer and wine is ok doesn't affect me but from what I've read it's the type of thing that can be different from person to person. I got lucky.
