FOULKES SIGNS FIRST PROFESSIONAL DEAL Talented goalkeeper Harrison Foulkes has signed his first professional contract with Hull City. The 18-year-old, who joined the Academy two years ago when signing Scholarship terms in the summer of 2017, has penned a one-year deal with a Club option for a further year. Foulkes has made huge strides since then, representing the Tigers at Under-18s and Under-23s level whilst also enjoying an impressive loan stint with Pickering Town in the current campaign, where his impressive performances saw the young custodian named the Pikes' Manager's Player of the Season and included in the Evo-Stik League East Division Team of the Year. On putting pen-to-paper, Foulkes said: "Obviously I'm delighted to have signed the deal. "It's a great feeling knowing that all of my hard work has paid off and I've been rewarded by the Club for it. "When I came to the Academy as a Scholar at the age of 16, this is what I've been working towards every single day in training and in each and every game I've played. "The last 16 months or so have been a real learning curve but one that has allowed to develop and progress and I'm now just looking forward to continuing with the hard work as I look to push on next year." Everyone at the Academy would like to congratulate Harrison on his new contract and we look forward to his continued development.
'It is understood several targets have already been identified, with the search predominantly focused on the free agent and loan markets'. https://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/spo...jx1AYYU7L6L2QugZfcJPvvfkm5AHT1aUARwxHNp2IDulQ
I have to say despite a number of different managers over the last 6 or 7 transfer windows who each have identified so called targets the boy blunder has an outstanding ability to ignore everything in favour of panic buying in the last 2 days of each window if at all while watching all the previously identified targets go elswhere. Free agents loans kids .. anyone who will sign a contract for this cluster fk of a club currently being run by total incompetents.
Oliver Norwood is the stand out one for me, he led Sheffield Utd to automatic promotion, and with him as an addition to to a squad that went so close who’s to say that he wouldn’t have made that all important difference. Well done Ehab, further proof, if any was necessary, that you are a total simpleton!
