Yeah I’m not here to knock his band. I play in a band too, so I know how much fun it is. HIAG’s stuff isn’t my cup of tea as I find old rock covers a bit boring. But each to their own
He is the sort of artist that wouldn't look out of place doing Quo numbers at a family wedding or bar mitzvah. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
Different era's mate, back in the 70's you had bands like Lucas Tyson and Brass Alley who were brilliant to watch live but spent their time working the clubs doing covers. My advice to @Hoddle Is A God would be to move away from the norm and cover tracks like 'Love like a man', Ten Years After, then he can make the guitar solo his own..
