I’d be actively suggesting the club don’t roll JS as an academy lad. Don’t want people thinking we produced that, we have a famed reputation to uphold.
Harry Reed must be back from his loan at Blackburn early, I saw him kicking a ball about with a younger lad with his Saints tracksuit top on in Hoglands Park this afternoon.
At Blackburn's award night, Harrison Reed was voted newcomer of the season (though I guess there weren't that many contenders ) and was 2nd in goal of the season.
I see us going into this in a relaxed frame of mind. That's possibly the best thing that can happen to us. You only had to look at how we behaved when we were one up. Sit awfully deep and punt the ball up the field even against weak opposition. Those are the actions of a scared team - we were terrified. I hope that, on Saturday, we'll see us play the way we would if we'd been safe earlier in the season. We have a decent set of players. Playing as a team has moved us far ahead of the Hughes days. Playing with confidence as well may make for a couple of excellent performances at the end of the season. Vin
There is also the problem of a crisis at CB. Probably too early to blood Klarer or O'Driscoll and we need them Friday! It may be that some players will relax too much and have already embarked on their holidays. Perhaps WHU will be as generous to us we were to them at SM!

Good to hear that it sounds like we'll be giving fringe players (including Fraser) a chance on Saturday. If you can't play them in these two games, when can you play them. It's the end of the season, and we're safe.
Despite having my own personal reservations, I hope that he has a stormer if he does start which would go a long way towards him overcoming a mental obstacle. I'm interested to see how well he deals with the inevitable brickbats he will recieve from certain idiotic sections of the SMS crowd. He could be playing for his future Saints career on Saturday and good luck to the lad. Sorry just remembered we are playing away!.....but the general point still stands.
