Check out my chops on Money, on the band’s Facebook page. You tell me what my “skill level” is after listening to that.
Kipper is a twat on here, but as you say it is fun playing in a band and getting up on stage in front of a crowd is a real buzz. Although I’ve only ever seen 4-5 people in the crowd at HIAG’s gigs, I’m sure he still gets a buzz out of it.
I wasn't criticising you, I'm in no position to say how talented a player you are. I also wasn't commenting on anything anyone else has said, I just posted my thoughts having watched the video. The fact you get up there and play and it's something you enjoy doing, I respect you for that. But that's about it!
Our last gig - a private marquee function for the Rebel Motorcycle Club - was attended by 29 Chapters of the Hell’s Angels. Not sure how many bodies attended, as I didn’t count them, but the place was heaving. Attendance at pub and club gigs vary greatly for most bands, us included. Video footage tends to get posted from gigs with fewer bodies, since the performance is easier to record. Typical attendance is 50-100, which is more than reasonable. The most I have performed in front of is around two thousand, at a festival.
