... in terms of comparing them as footballers, fair enough ... but it was Llorente's physicality that was causing the Ajax defence the problems

His bit of skill at the start of the second half was sublime, Quents ...

You are not going to outplay Ajax, Quents ..
technically they are streets ahead ... wake up and smell the Edam, mate <laugh>

    True. They couldn’t handle him.

Unfortunately, we were mostly too slow to play off him.

Llorente's problem was that only once did his team-mates cross a decent ball in the box for him. For the first half it was only he and Rose that looked like footballers for Tottenham, the rest weren't at the races.

Bollocks...clichéd crap because it was Ajax.

Each to their own sweet cheeks... but the way they moved the ball around was phenomenal for me ... sometimes it's not about what the British team does or does not do ... it's what they are allowed to do by the oppositiin ...they had you chasing shdows until they scored ... and you just couldn't get the ball off them.

I said before the game that you cannot sit back and let these ****ers play. And that’s just what we did for the first 30 mins. After we changed shape and got in their faces more, the game changed.

Quents ... you seem to have very little comprehension when it comes to football ... even calling the one player on your team that caused Ajax problems "a donkey" ... did you even watch the game? ....you should stick to guitar playing mate <laugh>

... and you are quite right ...

... and refreshing to discuss football objectively rather than having to educate the fret flicking fondue merchant that really hasn't got a ****ing clue <laugh>

I don't watch many Spud games but on that showing they don't look likely to win the Champions league
