Yep, that's why I said if Sunderland draw and Pompey lose .. Unless we beat Rochdale by 8 goals of course
Mixed feelings. They gave absolutely everything last night and on another day win that by 2 or 3. Didn't think too much of the Peterborough tactics and the ref lost control of that game. It was bizarre. After their last goal their striker just sat on the floor by the away end for a while - ref doing nothing - and then when they got back into their half one of their coaches walked onto the pitch and starting chatting with their players! It was mental! Never seen anything like it and the time was not added to the end - you can imagine the fury. A proper infuriating night where the opposition spoil from the get go, the ref losing the plot and somehow you end up losing. I can't fault the guys but it does concern me they may be flat for the last game and into the play-offs having put in that shift and nothing to show from it. Don't fancy playing you guys atm it has to be said. How do you see things?
We are in great form & recently demolished Luton. Our midfield of Cullen, Bielik, Aribo and Williams is probably the strongest in this league, and Lyle Taylor is as good as it gets at this level up front. This being Charlton though, we always throw in a random bad performance such as Oxford away over Easter. If the whole team turns up in the Play Offs we will beat anybody, but it’s a big IF
The Sunderland fans don’t seem too happy with their manager Jack Ross, not sure what they were expecting ?
Yeah, you're playing well at the right time. I'm not sure about our chances - depends on how we react to last night. We have some good players and Jamal Lowe is capable of doing anything. He's Championship standard for sure. Despite some good defenders and keeper we looked very shaky last night and let in soft goals which is a concern.
