The Spurs fan sat next to me just got really emotional when I told him they need their own songs

Spurs with a pretty predictable post HT reaction, but have Ajax ridden the storm?

I think they may have done & will start to impose themselves again here.

 

What Spurs need up front is someone greedy, someone one-dimensional, someone that plays on his own regardless of the rest of the team.

Sadly he's out injured.

 

Ajax need to get Tadic into this more.

 

A lot of gusto from Spurs but never really troubled the Ajax goal. Spurs better than Ajax in midfield now though.

 

Been very quiet.

Always been one of those players though tbf, he's either in the game or he isn't.

 

Yep. Needs the ball played to his feet, then he'll bring the other forwards into play.

 

Ajax have lost the ability to pass the ball

 

Ajax are starting to lube Spurs up again.

 

Frankie De Jong is in a class of his own out there.

 

Had high hopes for this game. The quality in the 2nd half has been poor.

 

It's being played at the tempo of an FA Cup tie. Which suits Tottenham. Ajax need to get the ball down and keep hold of it for a bit.

 

Yeh good shout. Spurs not allowing them time on the ball has thrown them a bit. Just one or two passes from Ajax in the final third could/should be better.

We’re not allowing them to play. Sissoko has made a huge difference too.
