I don't he fits what Ralph wants in the team sadly. He may be kept as back up but can see him being moved on.
Wow, even a conservative estimate that lot would bring in circa £75m in fees and save circa £30m in wages. That’s a lot of room to bring in new players
Two predictions. 1) We won't get rid of all the players we want to. 2) We won't sign all the players we want.
The true cost of our poor recruitment will be that the only way we can shift most of these players is to let them go for peanuts. Hope the club are prepared to make big losses on players that we spent decent amounts to bring in.
You don't make money on all players anyway....or get your money back. I think we have to bite the bullet on some players...it's not money out of my pocket.
Not exactly hard to predict really? But Ralph wants a total clear out. So in the end it will happen, even if it takes 2 seasons instead of one
Yes, it's obvious but some fans seem to think that everything will happen at once....we'll be lucky if we can pull that off. We should be hopeful, but not expect miracles.
Think he’ll likely be loaned in the hope he gets some confidence and form that will attract interest.
But we didn't let them go for peanuts last transfer window. Or the transfer window before that. So it would have to take a shift in our strategy to change that (not to mention clubs willing to sign them, even if only for peanuts). I'd love it if this summer we can get rid. But until I see it, I'll continue to remain sceptical. Currently my expectation is just more loans. I think a lot of people are going to be left very disappointed with just how much we manage to bring in by way of player sales.
Hasenhuttl did a presentation of the players he would like to keepx review or sell. Yosh and vestergaard were on the keep list along with Romeu. Lemina was on the list to move on - apparently he trains poorly/undertrains.
Yeah. I expect that we'd be able to permanently shift McCarthy, Stephens, Romeu (if he's going) and Austin. Probably Clasie too, for the simple reason that he has an incentive to parlay a good season at Feyenoord into a longer-term deal, even if at a lower dollar figure. Gallagher's a maybe, but given his lack of time I'd think he's more likely a loanee. Hoedt, Elyounoussi and Carrillo? Think they'll be out on loan. Their markets are too small, and their wages too high. So, we're talking maybe £30m in sales there. Unless we're shipping out a Hojberg, we're not going to have a transformative budget to work with.
I have heard he wants two ball playing cbs, with Bednerak and one of Yosh or Vester You are going to be surprised. It isn't about getting the max cash. Ralph and the board want the players gone and wages off the books
