The rules are more relaxed in the PL so it's not such a problem, but we also need to plan ahead in case we're relegated. Ajayi was born in England so qualifies, even though he plays fo Nigeria. Zephane is French, but of Algerian descent.

That would be a steal. I wanted him the last few summers when he was linked to us on loan. With Chelsea's possible transfer ban though? Makes all transfers leaving Chelsea look unlikely/rare.
Chelsea have 41 players out on loan this season, they can't use all of them! Given Chelsea have a wealth of attacking midfield options, even if Hazard leaves, I'm not sure they'll be desperate to have him in the first team. Suspect he might only be available later in the transfer window however once Chelsea have assessed who they have available to them.
As many as 41! If he's available, I'd love us to get him in. He's a talented lad. A good little Pritchard type signing. Not good enough to break into one of the English giants, but a player with huge talent and potential. His value will increase a lot for the prospect of selling him on down the line.

Although both Klose and Godfrey can play on the left side, they're right footed. To have a natural left footed defender would be an advantage, especially in the PL. Brentford have great scouting, and they bring in foreign players, develop them, and sell them on for big profit. I'm guessing they would demand a decent wedge of cash if we were interested. I wonder how much they would be demanding for Maupay?
Considering that Ajayi is available on a free, I doubt that we would shell out a wedge on Barbet, but it could happen. Given that Ajayi can play as a DM or CB suggests that he has the skills that DF is looking for.
