The Budgies whine of 'we haven't lost 2 league games on the trot under Lambert' being chucked away in the bin!

For all the the luck they got last year, its coming back 10 fold on them. I said it then and i will say it again. They are a average championship side that got very, very, very lucky.

BTW, where is the King of Twitter superman, I thought Stoke and West Brom were 2 gimme games in their quest to stay up!

One last thing, you know how we say they want to be like us, **** me they have even starting to defend like us as well!

I will not go as far as to say it is heart breaking but it is very frustrating. We are playing pretty well but do not have the killer instinct that is so badly needed in the PL. Apart from perhaps the 1st half at Wigan, City have played a lot of decent stuff but without the end product.

There are 2 reasons why I think we will not survive this season unless some major changes take place in January, when it might be too late anyway.

1. Our back 4 is too young and inexperienced
2. We do not have a PL standard striker.

From what i have seen, Its boys against men when you play (the same as if we were in there). As i said at the start of the season, Lambchop bought players for next season and took relegation as a certainty. Which has short changed you the fans.

But i must admit its great watching you lot fail, I must also applaude the fact that the referees have done their research on your tactics from last season and taking a hardline against it.

I will disagree the fans may well have been short changed, though others might later today.

But i must admit its great watching you lot fail, I must also applaude the fact that the referees have done their research on your tactics from last season and taking a hardline against it.

Referees have done no such thing fella, they are just incompetent, even Stan Collymore on Talk Sport last night can not believe how bad they have been so far this season in the PL (including yesterday at CR).

Oh come on Thai, admit it. How many times last season did your team hoodwink the ref and cause controversy? You live by the sword, you die by the sword.

One of my favourite moments of last season was Holt diving to get one of your Donkey CBs sent off. There was so little contact it was hilarious, he just turned and fell. As a result of that he went on to score a hat trick.

Haha we had a few incidents last season but overall I don't think we cheated more than anyone else.

Does CWick take penalties?

You’re somewhat reminiscent of someone like Hull in their first season; good start, some decent football and taking established teams to the wire. The difference at the moment is obviously that you’re not picking up the points that they did before their second-half-of-the-season slump.

I just have a feeling you’ll stay up, though. Unless his inexperience tells, Lambert will sort something out in January, you’ll start to turn some of these tight games into points and come the end of the season there’ll be three teams worse than you. Not sure who, but I think there will be.

It depends on whether Lambert can maintain the current organisation and spirit: two things we’re missing very badly.

jonah, what a remarkably positive post! <applause>

i think you are correct to compare us to teams such as hull. difficult to say as we have only played four games but if we are outside the bottom 3 at christmas i'll be happy enough! lambert can then make a couple of signings to help us over the line if need be. its obviously going to be close but apart from the top six teams, i don't think its that great a league - just tough going. not going to see much pretty football sadly... its all huff and puff!

anyway jonah, what on earth is going on with jewell?! i thought you lot were on the verge of something special under his guidance? he's certainly made tonnes of signings - whats the problem down there? after opening day i was getting ready to adjust my prediction of town finishing in their usual mid table position!!

I don’t know what gave you that idea!

I refuse to deal with metric weights.
