Liverpool were 10 points ahead of City when they beat Arsenal 5-1

Do you mean liverpool relaxed dropping points and allowed Man City back in? Or Man City relaxed and started playing better?

I believe Man City had a game in hand too so it was a false 10pts.

    False 10 points ?
You’re either 10 points clear or you’re not
    It’s fairly cut and dried
If we hadn’t won at Southampton then we would have been still 10 behind

It was only 10pts because of the TV schedule. I prefer to look at the points difference when we've played the same amount of games.

Yeah, but in doing so they will get caught on the break.

It'll be the same deal as today, although Leicester will try to play a bit more and it'll cost them

Then they've just got their ceremonial hammering of Brighton to struggle through :emoticon-0120-doh:

I think the only way to get at City is to go at them. Anyone trying to contain them just gets worn down eventually, but their defence is vulnerable (relatively speaking).
Leicester played well today, it seems - though it was only Arsenal, who are an ****ing shambles atm.

Come on Leicester. If he gets a point at the Etihad, Rodgers will feted as a hero. He will be given the credit of bringing the title to this club.

Our remaining matches are arguably trickier than City's. Should we achieve 97 points (which would be unbelievable by any standards) I'll be even more gutted.

We simply have to keep going and who knows we might still win that title. Our "bad" patch a few months ago could well have cost us dear. For those who says that we will still be strong challengers next season, I say: wait and see what happens during the transfer window and whether our players will resist the lure of Barcelona Madrid Bayern or PSG. And if those who do stay will they keep that same hunger and desire?

I couldn't take any confidence from their win today as, like you say, Arsenal are wonderfully appalling. But they are being managed by a vampire

However, Leicester did do lots of good stuff, so that's something

Kompany is starting to look a liability for them. Against united they just ran at him and played 1-2s round him and he can’t keep up. Unfortunately teams can’t/don’t get at them enough to really test him.

He got booked against united after what, 25 mins? Don’t think anyone then ran at him the rest of the game.

Its hard as they dominate the ball so you can only counter and if you don’t have the players like most lower teams then you can never get out to hurt them, but that’s why it’s annoying the rest of top 6 didn’t hurt them bar the 1 game they lost. Arsenal, United, spurs and Chelsea have the players to do that counter but just never got going.

Only hope is Vardy v Kompany on the counter. If Leicester can break well, city play a stupidly high line and Vardy could get in over the top at times.

They just meed need to be clinical. Burnley has 1 chance today and woods touch was shocking and then never looked like getting in again. Hopefullyleicester csn work 1 or 2 chances for Vardy and he’s in good form.

I'm still hoping Leicester can do something it's all over if they don't, no way Brighton will get anything.

Yeah I agree if it comes down to the last game it isn't happening and Brighton will get a spanking.

CIty have been to be honest more impressive grinding and finding a way than they have been when killing teams.

THey've had a serious amount of clean sheets.

The thing is their CL debacle just goes to show what away goals and someone having the lead can do.

CIty have never been behind yet.

I cannot really see leciester hurting them but you just dont know what happens in the middle of a game. One bad challenge or something and its all up in the air.

It requires someone to play the pass too. burnely were abysmal, aimless clearances and not one into a channel for anyone to chase.

they tried their best though as did spurs.

The only side who was found seriously wanting was utd and especially pogba.
