Just couldn't get hold of tickets. Watched it on the telly, could have easily been 8+, I was so tense until the final whistle, despite our control. Just expecting a twist from the ref or something.
Aren't pundits great. When the praise for our promotion fades they'll start writing off our chances next season!
Yes ocf, I was there too and agree with everything you say re last night. How we ONLY managed to score 2 goals is a complete mystery. If we'd had VAR, I'm pretty sure we'd have played most of the have against 10 men!!!
Great article - https://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/norwich-city/chris-lakey-promotion-comment-1-6020539 'If you are Timm Klose or Grant Hanley for example, you may feel you have a right to feel disgruntled at losing your place in the team. Ditto Moritz Leitner and Mario Vrancic. Keeping footballing egos in check is an art form. But what is even more impressive is if you sign footballers who don't feel the need to run off to their agent every time they are named on the subs' bench.'
I think Stewart Webber made this point on his interview on Sky last night re looking forward to having VAR next season
I liked this bit as well: As Farke himself said: “Our first season was really difficult, but from my first day it did really feel like home. I have a home base in Germany and it could be in years I work back there, but I will only have one home base in Germany. It feels like it will be the same for me here in England.”
Hmmm - what about us having to go to Wigan Sunday lunchtime, or the £1M or so that it's put in your coffers???? I seem to remember Leitner getting injured by repeated fouling at Blackburn, McLean missed almost half the season after getting crocked playing against Stevenage, Hanley got injured, as did Klose etc!!! Don't even get me started on corrupt match officials!!!!
Great article from MB on SW - https://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/norwi...ails-promotion-work-of-daniel-farke-1-6021050
On Sky post match interview DF said he has a base in Germany and that will always be his base in Germany and he now feels this will always be his base here. Hopefully that means he's here for the long haul.

Yes please - leading the parade next week!!!! https://www.edp24.co.uk/news/muddy-...oss-on-a-horse-on-the-back-of-a-van-1-6021280
Terrific article by MB -https://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/norwich-city/6-things-michael-bailey-blackburn-rovers-1-6021290
I was hoping that at least one of you guys would stick your head over the parapet to make this gesture - good man please log in to view this image I hope next season brings better fortunes for you too (hard to imagine it could be as bad again)
Good points from MB 'for sure'. It's very true that we have to balance our expectations next season, but then the target of 40 points rather than 90 is much lower. As always, much will depend on how our players and new recruits stand up to the demands of the PL, but the character and consistency of their performances so far give me hope. So does their technical skills, as MB points out: "The sight of Mario Vrancic's swirling drive of utter purity was City putting their hand up and saying: we have quality. While Norwich have added so much to their game this season, their technical ability has always led their list of strengths – and it has oozed out of every pore of their performances since September, with remarkable and admirable consistency. That is exactly the thought to remember when City tackle the Premier League next season – both on the pitch, and in the transfer window beforehand." How well our players transfer their goal scoring to the PL will also be a crucial factor, as I doubt we'll win many 1-0 battles. Previously the scoring rate has dropped by about a quarter (Holt's 25 goals dropped to 18). This is one reason I'm attracted to Babel, who's been there and done it in the PL. The new recruits will also play a major part towards survival, but the other factor in our favour is the hard work and desire of this squad. They'll fight hard for each other right to the final seconds as the PL prima Donnas are fading.
Decent - if a little lacking in depth article in the Grauniad. https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...uting-system-norwich-promotion-premier-league
