most likely. Cardiff need a win first then we will see. palace are no push overs on the road but they are also on hols. I reckon Cardiff will be quite negative then pile long **** forward near end. Brighton have as you.said absolutely crawled over hot coals at the end to just barely get safe. they need to change things next year. 20mil min on one striker needed. hughton is too defensive but won't change now but Murray is too slow
but most sides are not "quality" look at us last year drawing 2-2 with west Brom who were a disgrace tbh. that was last game saloon for west Brom and they went down all but mathematically with the draw they clung onto. haven't you ever heard it said of sides if only they played that way all year they wouldn't have been in trouble???
more often happens when their fate is already decided (Fulham) or near as makes no difference so all pressure is off.
Yes but my point is it's that last game when they can no longer deny there's no hope. The game raises massively in terms of effort. Fulham have done better now then when they were not down but in truth I couldn't be arsed look at the level of difficulty for thier games
not sure the level of difficulty matters considering they have won , i think , 3 of last 4 which is clearly a massive improvement on what when before.
True but they played Cardiff today and got a 1-0 They lose to leicester3-1 They lose to us 2-1 we gifted them goal and were focused elsewhere They lose to city2-0 Lose to Watford4-1 Best Bournemouth1-0 who were on beach an in injury crisis Beat Everton 2-0.. (very odd result for Everton tbh but they were as I recall extremely unhappy with their performance) Beat Cardiff who are as bad as them 1-0 Tbh.. I dunno if that really much good tbh. The Everton result clearly stands out, the Everton lads could comment what happened there maybe Frankly Bournemouth have been pretty poor lately, have been safe and result have been all over the place. Beat teams like Brighton and Huddersfield then lose to Fulham..
I wont miss Leeds should they miss promotion this season. Their history of playing dirty to win, in the long distant past, does not appeal to me.
Disagree with this somewhat because if that was the case then we wouldn't have the history of the FA Cup and what made it special. As well as that old adage of "this is like a cup game" referenced for certain league games. And that is what games at the end of the season become for those fighting relegation - cup games- especially on the final day (where everything is riding on that one game). There are enough examples of this as well, to be ignored. It doesn't necessarily mean the underdog will always win, but even when they don't the game for the favourite becomes a fck of a lot harder. They have to fight to the end, even when they take the lead they have to stay sharp to the end because the underdog will keep going for a result.
Burnley are 5th in the form table Leicester are 3rd Spurs (9th) and Utd (16th) were just the warm up matches
In fact on form the challengers for top 4 are bottom of the league. It looks like these teams are not bothered. It wouldn't surprise me if the mancs sneaked into 4th on the last day.
Maybe I didn’t fully appreciate your post. Fear same will happen to Sheffield United, however they play a lot more attacking that Warnock did in Championship.
just a quick reminder to lfc fans to take a look at prem table now. It'll probably be quickly updated at 2:10pm to city in lead. especially on bbc website. enjoy it now lads. we won't see us in lead til about 10pm next saturday
