Makes you wonder why it's Spurs "fighting!" for a CL place and not West Ham. Also makes you wonder if we deserve to be "fighting" for a CL place sometimes. . We seem to lose a lot of points to crappy teams with nothing to play for! Let's hope this is another one of those Spursy games that drive us up the wall and try(!) to do better in the next game.
That was an awful performance with too many players saving themselves for Tuesday, but that does not excuse Son who was awful but won`t be playing at home to Ajax. Dele and Dier were strolling around in first gear, Davies just isn`t good enough going forward and Foyth too inexperienced still. Only Lucas, Eriksen, Rose, Hugo and Toby looked like they fully wanted it, this should have been the most important game but it obviously wasn`t. We could have all but secured the top 4 today but now we`ve still got work to do, standard Spurs nobody should be surprised.
Could be worse, you could've had a power surge knock out the power to your house with twenty minutes to go and, after tinkering with the fuses, discover the controls of your boiler appear to have been fried...
I hope somebody nearby explained to him how income tax works ...or, you know, reminded him that his idea for a new stadium was to move us to Pickett's Lock, which had pretty much the same capacity as WHL
because we turn up for the games against the dross less than you do, plus we keep getting robbed by poor officiating, against you, Man Utd, Liverpool, City & Leicester poor refereeing and line running has cost us 3 wins and 2 draws
Saw the last 35 mins, but Pochettino demonstrated he is a devotee of the Einstein definition of insanity. At least 6 seasons of footage against the Spanners to analyse, and he still could not predict the slow motion train crash coming. That was as close to the AVB 2013-14 fixture as you can get.
Oh come on! You're Hackney Wick Hammers. You should be grateful that charity has given you a lot of points otherwise you'd be where you belong....relegated!
What it is showing is that we can not cope with injuries and tiredness as the squad does not have enough depth. No Winks, Sissoko, Kane and Vertonghen really showed today. Thank **** for Burnley , Palace and Wolves and Brighton this week
We were very poor today, was it fatigue or one eye on Tuesday night ? Lucas showed what he is ,a very hot or cold player Sonny showed the sort of form from two seasons ago Rose had another solid game running himself to a stand still Can Eriksen turn it on game after game ,no , which shows he needs cover and a rest Dele needs Kane Foyth is proving to be a good defender and could he be turned into a ball playing DM I hope so No doubt about it we need Kane no matter what the double team from N7 keep on bleating about day after day Lastly a very begrudgingly well played west ham you have done us again COYS
those were the blatant ones, the adjusted league table in which referees bad decisions are altered shows that the old adage 'decisions even out' is a complete lie. I can't wait for VAR personally
Yes it was an awful performance, but that does not mean that we should not have got a penalty. Salah has got penalties for being blown over by the wind, Son got pushed to the ground. Inconsistency again.
