What a shame. Nothing will go right for Ferrari this year will it? Leclerc is unusually self-critical for an F1 driver. Not sure if it's refreshingly humble or a sign of mental fragility. Vettel looks slow. Merc 1-2 once again.
Mistake from Charles but I wouldn’t put it past him winning. He will breeze through everyone including Verstappen within 5 laps and then he can race the Merca, assuming Vettel can stick this on pole?
Gotta hand it to Bottas so far this year, he’s rolled his sleeves up, put his gum shield in and stuck his elbows out.
I loved the retort from Norris to Eddie Jordan who questioned his surprise (in Jordan's mind at least) performance.
Haven’t seen it yet, any clips? Did you see him post race in Bahrain with the Sky team? They asked him about the encouraging McLaren renaissance after his great drive and they asked “what do you think has been the biggest improvement over the winter?” He looked Lazenby in the eye and said “The drivers” Lazenby looked like someone had just pulled his pants down!! Davidson was creasing.
for.me Merc have the power in quali and better down force. ferrari don't seem to improve from practice to quali and in race. its bizarre really. but anyway... vettel looks a beaten man to me. his heads gone. bottas and hamilton to drive away from him but I'm at least hoping le clerc blasts this track until verstappen puts both of them in the wall... at least get some fun from this race before the procession takes hold.
