It's a;most as if they said 'Take a photo of my son and I , then when it gets published the council will be panicked and rushed into giving us what we want even though we have no intention of building our own stadium, not in a million years' (Does an archive photo also exist of them both looking glum with arms folded looking into camera for HDM use?) Perhaps Hitler had a photo taken of him and his generals poring over a map of Switzerland/Schweiz/Svizzera/Suisse to gull the government of that country into thinking invasion was imminent. I’m down near Wembley once every 4-8 weeks. I’d never have guessed that. It’s a sprawling concrete **** hole now. Though they are making significant improvements and throwing a lot of money into the area around the stadium.
It’s still a ****hole, when I put my flat up for sale, the estate agent came to value it and said ‘it’s a gorgeous flat, all we need to do is find someone who doesn’t know the area to buy it’.
They are building some massive towers right near the stadium. There was 2 up when I last went in February - near first way. Very narrow concrete things. They look like fire service training towers.
