Not my club owners - get yer facts straight - and I'm not sensitive you thick, drucken, agressive twat....
Last season it took us an age to get Bielsa in, we wasted nearly the entire preseason chasing two players we were never going to stand a chance in signing. Hopefully Bielsa will stay and if we fail in the play offs I hope we secure a few targets nice and early. I don’t buy the James thing either 2 pennth, I don’t believe Swansea were innocent but if we’d wanted him it should have been done and dusted before the final day. I struggle to believe he was the only player in the whole of English football who’d have made a difference, if Swansea were playing hard ball where was plan B
I dont need them shakes it will be a good day out. We have nothing to lose as weve ipswich too so third place is still up for grabs.
...you could call it that, I was getting you mixed up with those two nice Swansea supporters, but I've forgotten their names, one has an Elvis avatar..
Just listened to the whole press conference now and the quote gets a little lost in translation/context. He's defending the players and saying you can't say that they haven't given everything this season because you can look at the facts and figures and when you look at previous seasons they can't repeat what they've done this season (as in the facts and figures and performances from previous seasons can't repeat)
- please God no!!........ The Elvis avatar is a certain swanseaandproud - he used to be known as Daiswan. Don't know who the other jack you're thinking about might be unless it's Dragonphil. Haven't posted over on their board for a few years now - very little sense of humour unless they're winning and you're losing. I prefer it up here.
I meant the money they make out of buying and selling players. Dear me i know where they are in the league. Look how many they have bought and sold. Moving to a new ground as well. A proper run club.
The thing about selling a player for £10m and bringing in a player to replace him for £4m is great as long as you know what your doing. Wolves brought in a load of top players on loan and walked the league. If a player is known by Bielsa and we have never heard of him does that make him a lesser player than the one we sold?
Not on matchday bud the end of season home game is kind of special as proven by your attendance..only person i will be jeering is the referee.
Give you a good idea if you consider Wood goes for £12m and although he scored over 20 in his last season for us he has scored much less for Burnley. But a striker who scores goals at a rate of a goal every other game can be picked up for less than £6m from overseas. I am thinking of the 2 strikers Bielsa was looking at Esequil Ponce who Bielsa discovered and Prijavic. Look at some of the cheap undiscovered strikers Wolves, Watford with Richarlson who was bought for a quid and sold to Everton for lots and is scoring goals against top Prem clubs. Fulham and Mitravic was £2 and a bag of chips. uK strikers are way over priced so value for money outside
