A win for us and a ManUrine win, that's what we need. That's third sewn up

Tomorrow is almost a nightmare scenario game for us.
Spanners Cup final, so they'll be motivated off the scale as usual - so huge risk of injury. The fact they're also playing well is another bummer as we will need to be on our game to get anything - and (at least at the time of the game) we will still need 3 points!
Agree with starting Dier and Sonny another definite but after that nothing is clear.... <yikes>

Suffice to say, I'm not looking forward to the game!

Half time guest tomorrow is Glenn Hoddle. I’m certain he’ll get a massive reception.

You're nailed on for top 4.
    No analysis needed.

The most talented player I have ever seen in a spurs shirt. An utter genius with the ball. Remember standing at the bottom of the shelf as a 14 year to be as close as possible to watch him control the ball before unleashing a 40 yard pin point pass or a 25 yard volley.
It's a shame more of his career was not captured on tv so today's football lovers could witness his skills.

50 feckin' caps!! Just 50 feckin' caps.
Just think of the ****ers that have that many and yet the greatest talent of his generation gets ignored.
Just imagine if Hod had been Brazilian, Italian or Argentinian..... Would have had a team built around him.
No wonder '52 Years of Hurt' <doh>

Unbelievable the weight he put on the pass,
before you even consider the vision to spot a player.

And as my dad always said, a very short "back lift" on his shot.

I could have made almost exactly the same post. Same age, same place, watching also one of his amazing free kicks that I think just about always went in. He may have missed one or two but I can't remember any! Also loved his long passes for Crooks to run onto.

There was a t-shirt I saw on a fan, on which it said, “Some say Hoddle - we say god!”. That just about sums up my feelings, then and now. I see Vimhawk remembers his passes to Crooks, but for me it was the crossfield forty-yarders, right on to the advancing feet of Tony Galvin on the left wing touchline. Genius, far better than square-pass Wilkins. Undervalued in his day. Except by us down at the Lane. Thanks for triggering those happy memories!

    Ps
When it had become public knowledge that he was leaving Spurs, I remember his last game. And the non-stop, ninety minutes of the crowd singing, “Hoddle, Hoddle - Hoddle, Hoddle - born is the King of White Hart Lane!” That was 90 minutes of tear-filled eyes for me!

Foyth at RB, Davies at CB, and two wingers up front

    It's bold, I'll say that...
