I've had a skim through the article. I suppose it's just as much his right to say what he wants, but it's just another article.

Don't think it's this generation's civil rights at all tbh. But that also means him spouting about it isn't a pressing issue for me either. The divide in society - rich and poor, the elites and the working classes, the minority and the majority - and those within those groups that are exploiting that divide, is what gets me pissed off. There are ****s on all sides.

It gets a lit muddier with others. Things tend to cross over, but people will default towards identity politics.

For example, Tommeh is seen to be part of the working classes. Farage makes himself out to be against the elite. Both are anything but what they represent. Both exploit the working classes and don't really give a fck about the real concerns. They peddle "solutions" that won't deal with those concerns, they're just to suit their own agenda and pockets.
