Can't believe people watched all of GOT,I bailed out after series 4.....Kill shag double cross repeat ad nauseam, but each to their own.
To be fair there wasn't a lot of shagging going on in the later series. Plenty of double crossing and deaths though. You need to see battle of the bastards to watch a truely epic episode.
Ah theres a bit of tits n arse in fairness It is in the end walking dead meets house of cards when all is said and done.
A friend convinced me to watch the next season. Binged it and it was significantly better than the first. At least it feels like it wont be a Lost type crap finish
It felt like a different show. It was much more sci-fi/fantasy focused with a subfocus on weirdness. It had more plot crammed in too. The first season could have been compressed into half the length and not missed too much. The show feels more like someone's delusions than a real plot though. All the lose ends and the increasing weirdness makes me think it ends with her just being crazy and delusional... Which is a bit of a cop-out ending for a five-season show but would explain the plot holes and increasing break from reality.
Can understand that comment. I actually thought the end was maybe the weakest part. Spectacular and triumphant, but predictable. The beginning interested me most where it's about loss and the quietness after everyone has been lost and that feeling sticks around reemerging at certain points. It's a convoluted film and plot holey, and the way it's structured is a bit confusing, but not enough for me to not enjoy the rapport between the characters where there are some great humorous moments that cut through the dead seriousness of the other stuff. I liked how there were essentially several films within a film at one point, in the middle, when they're retrieving the cargo. Although a couple of those drag a bit. But generally I think it's a good film, not amazing but pushes over a 7 for me, maybe even a tentative 8.
It should be what it is though an action film about superheroes, I was bored with all the nostalgia and slow plodding towards the big battle and felt there wasn't enough action leading up to it. I also felt the humour missed the mark quite often aswell.
Watching Season 5 of Cuckoo. I've always found Andie MacDowell attractive (she's a South Carolinian) but she can be a really annoying actress... She ruins the show. I didn't think I'd ever miss Lautner, but he was the better token famous American actor on the show
After Graham being given a role that was not worthy of the man in Line of Duty we have this coming soon. Going to be brilliant...
