Watford v Wolverhampton Wanderers: please log in to view this image Watford v Wolves: probable starters in bold, contenders in light. These sides meet just three weeks after Gerard Deulofeu’s technical wizardry completed a spine-tingling FA Cup semi-final comeback and sent Wolves packing with their tails firmly between their legs. Revenge is the name of the game for Nuno Espírito Santo and brushing Arsenal aside on Wednesday should make that feel achievable. Watford will not want to surrender a four-point gap to Wolves in seventh, though, and will believe Deulofeu can serve up another masterclass. Certainly one to catch on Match of the Day as both teams could potentially challenge for the Champions League next season with the right summer recruitment. A simple cut and paste from the Guardian for the above info. I hope Deeney is seething to miss this, his red card might cost us 7th. He not only knows that but also his hatred of Wolves, being a Brummie with a strong midlands rivalry between the two, must be burning inside him. I can only hope that JG has him locked in a cage and is feeding him scraps, leaving him in touching distance of a replica F.A. Cup, only to let him out before the two games before the F.A. Cup final. So he is seething at the bit but has calmed down enough to demolish everything in his way in the run in and on to lifting the Cup. Anyways, TD9 or not, we need to win this to have any real chance of 7th. Can we do it without him? Sure thing, but it won't be easy. BTW - I know it is only a line up, but doesn't Wolves's formation look strange how the Guardian have laid it out!!
Better to have missed these games now than get sent off in this one and miss the final. 2-0 to us with a solid performance.
Ewwwww, I didn't think of that. So, if any player gets a straight red in the next two games then it'll be no final for them, right?

Thanks Mex for the thread. I was wondering how to do something when I am supposed to be interacting with family. Having watched Wolves the other night I hoped that they might have still been suffering from their defeat in the semi, but they certainly showed no ill effects.
So will we make it 3 out of 3 against them like with the Palace? Cannot see there be any changes despite the average performance on Tuesday . Hopefully won't give Wolves a 1 goal lead (or 2!) this time.
we beat them at their place without TD, he won't even be at the ground tomorrow but apparently was fuming after the performance against Southampton and gave the team a right earful! Personally i'm not feeling confident, Wolves will be up for this because they wouldn't want us to do them three times this season, they'll think they owe us, though the Wolves fans i've spoken to think 7th is too early for them this season. However, with my positive head, i'm going 3-1!
I’m not confident about this. We were poor against Southampton and not at our best against Huddersfield either. Those two goals we conceded against arsenal and Southampton make me think the defence is going to be a bundle of nerves too. And I can’t believe Wolves won’t have extra motivation after the semi-final. Sadly I think this might be where our 7th place dream dies. Had TD9 not been sent off, I think we beat Arsenal and probably Southampton and we would be sitting pretty right now. Oh well, doesn’t matter, we’re going to win the FA Cup anyway!
Bloody Nerve you've got Deeney if this is true.Hope the other players said at least they were there on Tuesday WORKING for their money.Sorry it seems you cant make it today.
I'm not at all confident about this one. We have not been good in the last two games and Wolves will be really up for this. As has been ststed above I wonder if our players will be nervous about red cards.
