The Charlton fan base has totally got the arsehole with the Aussies & their entourage. They have led fans on for 18 months, and insulted their intelligence with their derisory excuses about missing EFL paperwork.

The truth is they they hugely oversold their interest - via one very misguided individual- from Day One. It was obvious that they were chancers & it was obvious that the consortium didn’t have the money. The titular figurehead - Muir - did have the personal wealth, but it spoke volumes for his own commitment, or lack of, that he would risk it.

Unfortunately the Aussie mouthpieces were not around when Charlton was owned by classy, understated human beings like Mike Norris and Roger Alwen.
