Was my local from about 82-84, when I lived in Stokey. That High Street was the bust pub crawl territory in London back then, if not the entire UK.

 

If you'd stuck around a couple of years longer you'd have seen baby Toby being rolled into there in a pram

 

Castles are relics from the distant past guise, they should all be knocked down or turned into affordable housing.

Incidentally The King & Queen pub in Fitzrovia was meant to be where Bob Dylan played some of his first gigs in the UK, sorry, England. I wasn't there so I couldn't possibly comment.

Due to the English draconian licensing laws they were very short gigs. He got halfway through The times they are a changing when the barman called...well...time, ironically.

 

Been to loads of castles but only Mont St Michel on that list.

 

I've been to every castle in Great Britain. I've also visited many castles and fortresses across the world.

My five favourite castles are Dover, Caerlaverock, Falaise, Pevensey and Krak des Chevaliers.
