I very rarely agree with you or anyone who oozes positivity lol BUT I have surmised that my many years of suffering from Utd fans have led to this weekend. Having had the chance to propel themselves into a top four position if they had put a little bit of effort in (totally agree with Trebles analysis of the game - City managed to conserve energy in a Derby ffs) They have comforted themselves with the knowledge they have screwed up our title challenge. They are wrong - my hometown club are going to stuff the pants out of city and get a 0-0 draw If we hadn’t already ****ed up against Huddersfield by the time this game is played the result would have been amazing.
Lets not become rawk and publish and alternative reality table where state supported clubs are excluded (@astro this means you) If we lost title on 97 points i shall applaud city for their brilliance.
Don't think we're can do anything else. Opposition fans will be the same, just not necessarily in public.
of all the rule changes fifa etc like to do i don't get how that one is allowed to stand on any level. surely it's an unfair advantage to be state owned!! but ffp rules are a waste of time so maybe its a lost cause lol.
city would claim a private individual owns the club but the reality is the private individual also owns the state in effect. there is literally unlimited resources available to city and PSG. justto give a few notes on this complex http://stadiumdb.com/stadiums/eng/manchester_city_academy_stadium please log in to view this image Just to be clear. this is outside FFP rules and so the state owned club unashamedly built what a league 1 club could only dream of. In effect their u18s play with corporate boxes. It says it all that the ground was still only half filled even though LFC got a tiny allocation In effect our youths had to play this cup final in an away ground in front of an away crowd, with pyro for city before hand.. in front of pep and all his team up in corporate boxes.
You know it makes sense The most momentous 6 - 3x2 games (ours and City 's) of the last 28 years. Any dropped points will have massive significance. Come on Burnley. You are my second favourite club.
What a facility. What an investment in the future they appear to be making, surely the next Foden will be coming through shortly, the best local talent and older talent from far would see this as a magnet for their future growth and what a place to work.
foden is 18 but at any other club would be a first team star. however your effort at a pure wind up post is so transparent you should start selling double glazing mate
But it’s not a wind up, if I were good enough and had the option of the NW clubs to sign for, I would look at the facilities/setup and base it on what’s going to improve me. Crikey, the city youth/woman’s ground is something else. Foden isn’t being ran into the ground as he would be at say and Everton or Arsenal. He is developing at the right place.
if you were young enough you could be a plastic and be a city supporter... You have to see that in the end what you actually have to see is this:- theres precisely one player with a chance of coming through there, theres zero record of players doing anything but leave the place. So would it develop you... so would many academys, would you get a move... maybe. will you have to move, YES. If we accept a state entity come in and build what the FA itself would never build for an elite academy due to cost and then we accept they can pay whatever you might as well go to the bunesliga model where bayern win everything allthe time and the rest just play survival. The prem is virtually there now. LFC are lucky we psent 12 mil way back on our academy and did such a poor job of it that now we can sell melwood for houses and use the fund (50mil to build a 50mil facility for both seniors and youths together (finally) theres no stadium in that build, its a trianing complex. Finch farm isn't a mega complex with a stadium in it ffs. then just think how city got what they have. Its a commonwealth games area. so in effect 2 states (uk and the UAE) have subsidised this. So while you are gooing to wum (don't deny it again) this is driving the market mad and driving us all to have football become affordable for people to even see.
Obviously a huge advantage for City... But that builds important experience for our kids to go there and win under those circumstances. It'll prepare them for hostile crowds.
So you are a player in the NE, with no ties, where would you pick if you have open choice? One player so far. Some in the past. Top players don’t come through each week. For every TAA there are a hundred Flanagan/John Joe Kenny
