Based on recommendations from comments on The Guardian site I've recently downloaded the following: Fleabag Don't Forget The Driver Back To Life I'm not convinced about Fleabag as watched a bit before and wasn't impressed but think maybe should have given it more of a chance. Watched first episode of Don't Forget The Driver, not laugh out loud but perfectly watchable. Not watched Back To Life yet but sounds very dark so should be interesting. Any others floating your boats?
I thought Don't Forget The Driver was ok and I think Jones is unlikely to sign up to something he can't make good so I'm going to give it time. 2 suggestions to look out for: Sex Education Flack Been wanting to watch Timewasters but keep missing it. I thought White Gold would be good but just doesn't work imo. Great cast but poor script.
Someone showed me a YouTube scene compilation, I thought it looked pretty funny.... Doesn't work as an actual show? Haven't watched a full episode.
That's the problem, it's got some funny scenes but as a show is painfully unfunny. It drags on waaaaaaaay too long as well. It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia is probably the best new comedy show (well, not 'new' but fairly recent)
Happy! Is probably the funniest thing that's been on telly for a while. Extremely violent as well so what's not to like. Preacher is also funny as well has having more than adequate amounts of gore. Santa Clara diet is quite funny and has quite a bit of gore in as well.
Can't remember the name of the show but I saw one episode where two blokes were at a wine bar and they were eying up a couple of ladies. One of them went to lean on the bar but the service hatch had just been lifted and he fell over. Priceless.
