He reappeared very briefly just before you reappeared permanently as it goes. Didn't last long and it didn't include any admissions he was was completely and utterly wrong about LVG either! Christian (Smith) also reappeared not long back. Think it was just after Jose was sacked.
He said he had a baby. But like others, if United were winning titles, I'm sure they would have set personal issues aside to come on here
Depay did well in Holland before, that's why clubs were chasing him. His problem wasn't that he thought things revolved around him, more the fact that he was a sulky **** who let his head drop every time something didn't work. One poor shot or cross and you may as well have subbed him straight away because he gave up. Martial has a tendency to the same attitude too.
I think the thing with Martial is that he feels let down by those around him, which is why his head drops. And usually not straight away but as the game progresses. Because of the lack of quality from certain players which impacts on his game. He could even score after that and still look down because he knows it could be better.
I agree with you to an extent, the fact that his start in life with us was under van Gaal and Jose probably didn't help either. The thing against that is Rashford is younger and has had the same start but never gives up, that lad plays through obvious injuries and runs himself into the ground but still pushes on. I have said this before, we have far too few with the right mentality/attitude to succeed. Rashford, Lingard, Herrera, Jones, Young, Mata, hopefully Dalot, Andreas, maybe Lindelof and de Gea seem to have the right mentality Unfortunately some just don't have the talent. That said, mentality and effort can be just as effective as talent if used right. Who would you call a real leader in the team?
Martial is a very talented player but unlike Rashford the difference perhaps is that he has experienced playing with better technical players and a better style of football in a more technical Monaco side before he came to us. And of course Rashford is United through and through. I agree with you though about attitude and the players you've mentioned irrespective of the talent. I do believe Martial has that attitude but he needs a manager who shows confidence in him and players who are up to the standard expected around him. Sadly we have no real leaders. I can't remember a real leader in the team since Rio left tbh. And the worse thing is you don't just want one, you need leaders all over the pitch.
Herrera could be one, which makes the contract stalling all the more baffling. These are the players that Ole and Phelan are going to identify, supposedly, so let's hope that's the case. Needs a proper shake up of in's and out's, be a good couple of season's work. I'd also keep Mata as a senior player/red. Makes no sense to just let the likes of him and Herrera just drift off. While keeping others.
HIAG is talking nonsense, How has Ole Gunnar Solskjaer blown it, We weren’t expected to be in the race for top 4 after Mourinho got the sack.
Little Ollie was supposed to be your saviour - and for a short while, it looked like he was - but he's hit relegation form, and created some of the worst stats for your club since the 70s and 80s. Does that provide you with a clue as to how I might have come to the conclusion that he's blown his bolt?
It’s Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Say his name right you Gary Glitter look a like, You don’t half talk sh(i)t for a so called ‘’pundit’’.
Calm down! So, are you denying that Little Ollie has created some of the worst stats in your club's history?
